Fall Pottery Classes 

The COMO has a brand new pottery studio, right in the COMO Main Building at 28 Cutler Street. 

Register for a class to be one of the first to experience this great new space!

Adult Intro to Pottery A or B

This course is an excellent introduction for new students or those who want to return to pottery fundamentals after time away. Students will learn basic hand-building methods: pinch pots, coil, and slab techniques. Later, students will be introduced to the potter's wheel and the essentials of wheel-throwing: centering, creating a basic form and trimming a vessel. 

A. Mondays, September 12 th – October 31st | 6:30 – 8:30 pm 

B. Thursdays, September 15 th – November 3rd | 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Adult Intermediate Pottery

A great fit for those who wish to develop more advanced clay techniques and increase their knowledge of ceramics as an art form. This course is designed for past students – COMO’s Introduction to Pottery class is a prerequisite required to register for the intermediate class.

Wednesdays, September 14th – November 2nd | 6:30 –  8:30pm
