SUMMER ADULT POTTERY CLASSES
The Stonington Community Center offers pottery instruction for students with all levels of experience. The intimate studio setting enables teachers to provide one-on-one attention, and students are encouraged to progress at their own pace.
All classes are designed to provide lessons in basic clay preparation and care, wheel throwing, hand building, and glazing techniques. Students should anticipate finishing the seven week session with completed pieces and a love of mud.

SUMMER FUN DAY CAMP
Are you ready to have a busy and exciting summer? Then our SummerFun program is just what you are looking for.
SummerFun is a licensed child care program staffed with experienced teachers and instructors. This year we are offering the option of a 9 AM-4 PM camp with extended hours for those who require full time child care. We have extended hours available as early as 7 a.m. and running as late as 6 p.m. Camp is available for children entering kindergarten to children entering 6th grade
Registration for this popular program began on February 1st, so hurry down and sign up for one week or all ten. This is one of the COMO’s most popular programs and space is limited.

Financial assistance is available through CARE 4 KIDS for those who qualify. (Application for the Care4Kids program should be made early, as it takes some time for the State to accept new clients.)
Registration for this program must be done on the official application form which will be available at the COMO and requires an up-to-date physical (no older than 2 yrs at any time during the program)

FALL YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE NOW REGISTERING
Our premier fall program with over 350 children focuses on fundamentals and recreational play. This is a great chance for your son or daughter to get involved with the most popular sport in the world starting with a FUN and games approach. Volunteers are needed for coaching, refereeing and organization, please contact Athletics.
Registration begins June 2nd and will continue through August 1st. Games for ages 4-7 in our Tim Horton’s instructional and developmental programs are played on Saturday at the COMO soccer fields. Games for ages 8-13 are played on Saturdays and Sundays. We are very excited to be continuing our relationship with Tim Horton's for our program for 4-7 year-olds.
Ages 4-7 ~ Fees $45 ($65 for non COMO members)
Tim Horton's Instructional Programs include the following:
Ages 4-5 Micros-Instructional
Ages 6-7 Cosmos-Developmental
These games are played on Saturdays from September 6-October 25
Ages 8-13 ~ Fees $45 ($65 for non COMO members)
Mystic Valley Soccer League
These games are played on Saturdays and/or Sundays
from September 6-November 3 with practices during the week .
This is a recreational program where "FUN" is the main objective
and competition is de-emphasized.
Registration after August 1st will be accepted based on available space, and a $10 late fee will be added.
