About Paddle Tennis

Platform Tennis, also known as "paddle", combines the best elements of tennis, racquetball, and squash, and is the only racquet sport played outdoors in the winter elements.  The courts are lit at night, which makes paddle the ideal sport for working adults.

The COMO paddle tennis facility features four paddle tennis courts, warming hut, and observation deck. Some balls and paddles are stored in the warming hut for COMO paddle tennis/combined racquet members, lesson and clinic participants, and paddle pros to access.

Everyone can benefit from and enjoy this vibrant, action-packed, outdoor, cold weather game! We promote and support instructional clinics, recreational and social play, ladders, leagues and tournament play.  You must be a COMO Paddle or Racquet member to use the COMO Paddle courts.

Benefits of COMO Paddle/Racquet Membership

Head to our membership page to check out our full paddle tennis membership benefits, including the ability to reserve private court time and book private lessons with our nationally-ranked COMO racquet pro! We'll prorate the rest of your membership and apply the credit to your new annual membership, so you won't miss a day of access to COMO benefits.

Season Courts

Season courts are available for paddle groups. Below is information and procedure for reserving season paddle courts:

There are 2 seasons: October - January, and February – May.

  • All player names must be submitted along with day/time requested.

  • No more than two season courts may be booked at the same time.

  • Season fee: $600 for the court

  • Prime time (daily 8am-12pm & 4pm-8pm) slots are in high demand, so season courts will be booked on a first-come, first serve basis.

  • If your group is not able to play during your reserved season court time, you must notify Athletic Director TJ Faeth at t.faeth@thecomo.org so the court can be opened up for members to play on.

  • Season courts are non-refundable, so if your group is going to miss a week for any reason, no refund will be awarded for that time missed.

  • Season court reservations are separate from established league reservations, which are open to all members based on rating/ability.

Requests for season courts must be emailed to Athletic Director TJ Faeth at t.faeth@thecomo.org with all required information.

Guest Policy

We welcome our members to invite guests to play in a game scheduled by that member, i.e. there must be at least one pass holder on the court. Guests can play no more than two times before a membership is required for their continued use of the courts. The hope is that by inviting guests to play, members are introducing their guests to the courts and promoting membership. Membership fees support the health and longevity of the courts and are critical to keeping the courts operational.
