Session 1 Classes

Digital Photography and Photoshop

Ages 9-13

This class is geared towards new students and returning Digital Photography students.
Learn the fundamentals of light, shadow, exposure, and composition. Discover the power
of Photoshop® as you learn how to consistently produce superior-quality images and fix almost any image issue. Already own a digital camera? Bring it to class for even more customized instruction. Don’t have a camera? No Problem, The COMO has DSLRs for you to use!

Minecraft B 101

Ages 6-9

Participants will explore the immersive world of art, physics and architecture in the COMO’s Minecraft Art class learning composition skills, color balance, and 3D modeling design all in the wonderful world that is Minecraft.

Dungeons & Dragons After School Adventures

Ages 7-13

Part illustration workshop, part creative writing class and part mystical journey, Dungeons & Dragons After School Adventures combines the classic role-playing game developed in the 1970s with modern technology and creative learning opportunities. Develop a character, give him/her/it a back story and then start a quest with your fellow adventurers. As we play through our quest, participants will draw some of our amazing feats, write of our heroism, and combine both into a tome to take home.

Intro to Digital Art and Illustration

Ages 7-13

This is an introduction to not only "digital art" but art in general. In this very in-depth course will develop student’s sense of space, composition and scale, while learning an intuitive digital illustration platform. Our Intro to Digital Art and Illustration courses bridges the gap from doodling in a notebook, to a piece worthy of publication in a museum.

Session 2 Classes

Intermediate and Advanced Digital Photography

Ages 9-13

This class is strictly geared towards returning Digital Photography students. With an established digital photography skillset, students will be given a set schedules of projects to be completed as well as an open ended photography project to be completed by the end of our six week class session. Individual guidance to desired students outcomes as well as learning to mount finished images will round out session.

Minecraft B 102

Ages 6-9

Minecraft B 102 is follow-up class to our Minecraft B 101 class. Returning students will focus on 3D design, game structure and Minecraft video production. Our Mastery Project will be a video portfolio highlight the different Minecraft projects completed in this six week workshop.
