Spring Youth Pottery
Make a box, make a ball, make it short, or make it tall! Sculpt animals, flowers, faces and more. With hands in clay, students can create anything they imagine.
Instructor Amanda Oakes earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education from Skidmore College. Her concentration was in ceramics and for her senior show, she created a mural painting out of clay! Amanda enjoys the technique of hand building and the inspiration she gets from working with children. She previously taught at many places including Pine Point and St. Michael School. Amanda has been teaching at the COMO for 18 years
