An Eclectic Mix of Bargains

The Stonington COMO operates one of the oldest thrift shops in the area with bargains galore. The shop is located at 45 Cutler Street in Stonington Village (right beneath the viaduct to the Borough) and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays from 12-5 p.m.

Want to Donate?

Donations to the COMO Thrift Shop are much appreciated and tax deductible. Donations are accepted between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday. For those who are gracious enough to arrange a large drop off, please first contact the COMO Thrift Shop Manager at 860.535.9041 to arrange an appropriate drop off time, as space can sometimes be limited. 

Please be sure that donations are in good condition for resale. As a nonprofit organization, we incur the staffing and disposal expense of items that are not suitable. 

Donations sought include:

  • Gently Used Clothing - Children's, Teen & Adult
  • Jewelry
  • Furniture
  • Kitchen Items
  • China and Glassware
  • Collectibles
  • Seasonal Items
  • Children's Toys
  • DVDs
  • Vinyl Records
  • Books

Please note that we are unable to accept the following items:

  • Mattresses
  • TVs
  • Computers
  • Scanners 
  • Printers
  • Exercise Equipment
  • Large Kitchen Appliances
  • Cribs
  • Car Seats
