Winter II Classes

Intro I  
This course is an excellent introduction for new students or those who want to return to pottery fundamentals after time away. Students will learn basic hand-building methods: pinch pots, coil, and slab techniques. Later, students will be introduced to the potter's wheel and the essentials of wheel-throwing.

Intro II

Topics will be based around student interest, some include, but not limited to hand building with the "broomstick" method, mocha diffusion and various surface slip applications. All are welcome to the class, but the class is designed for individuals with some clay experience who want to grow their ceramic techniques

Intermediate AM
A great fit for those who wish to develop more advanced clay techniques and increase their knowledge of ceramics as an art form. This course is designed for past students – COMO’s Introduction to Pottery class is a prerequisite required to register for the intermediate class.  Individuals can sign up for the full six weeks or can sign up for specific dates.  This is ideal for those who want to make a single project or have questions/concerns about specific topics that arise during their own clay practice.

Times: Wednesdays | 10:00am-12:00pm | January 11 - February 15

Member Price: $85 members OR $15.00 per class

Nonmember Price: $105  OR $20 per class
