Introduction to Screen Printing

Ages 9 – 14

In this week long camp, students will learn the basics of setting up a screen, printing on paper and cloth, and cleaning the screen. Students will be able to take a screen, create a design on it, and paint cards, clothing, fabric pieces, etc.
Through the completion of projects, students will show an understanding of the screen printing process and develop ways in which the medium can be incorporated into their own art practice as a tool to express their ideas.

Note: Please bring a white t-shirt to screen print on. Screen Printing can get messy, so bring a big t-shirt or clothing that you don't mind getting dirty.
