Learn how to design 3D models using CAD (computer-aided design) software. Students will spend the first class learning what a 3D printer is and real-world applications for 3D printing. The second class will focus on designing for 3D printing. The third class will be spent on learning how to use CAD software. The fourth and fifth classes will be spent working on a 3D modeling project that will be printed by the instructor.
