The COMO offers birthday party packages for kids of different ages and interests! What better place to celebrate this special occasion than on the COMO Campus? Gather friends and family for a great time in a safe, clean, and fun environment. Choose between our four COMO Birthday Party Packages: the Arts & Crafts Party and Pottery Party!

Como-Painting-Activity

Arts & Crafts

This party is for the artist at heart. Attendees will enjoy arts & crafts activities to do with friends and then take home!

  • Location: COMO Makerspace
  • Availability: Offered Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
  • Ages: Four & up
  • Guests: Includes ten children, $25/per add’l guest, fifteen guest max
  • Price: $400 nonmember, $350 member
Package Includes:
  • 90 minute art program led by a COMO staff member
  • Three art stations based on party theme (see choices below)
  • All guests create handmade crafts to take home
  • ‘Welcome to the Party’ sign
  • Set of ten invitations
  • Banner with birthday child’s name to decorate at the party
Theme Choices and Art Stations:
  • Dinosaurs…decorate a dinosaur and make a dino crown
  • Enchanted Lands & Fairies…make and decorate your own fairy and fairy wand
  • Outer Space…design, name, and paint your own planet and alien spacecraft
  • Princesses & Unicorns…paint a unicorn and make a princess crown hair band
  • Under the Sea…make sea star cut-out paintings and sea jelly crafts

Pottery

Attendees will watch a professional wheel throwing demo then get their hands dirty and throw their own creations on the pottery wheel or by handbuilding. Clay and firing of one to three pieces are included. Pottery will be fired and glazed by the instructor and are available for pick up four weeks after the party.

  • Location: COMO Pottery Studio
  • Availability: Offered 2nd & 4th Fridays, 4 – 6 p.m. or 7 – 9 p.m.
  • Ages: Four & up for handbuilding, nine & up for wheel throwing
  • Guests: Seven guests max
  • Price: $500 nonmember, $450 member
Package Includes:
    90 minute pottery program led by a COMO staff member

  • All guests create up to three pottery pieces to take home (pick up in four weeks)
  • ‘Welcome to the Party’ sign
  • Set of seven invitations
  • Poster with birthday child’s name to decorate at the party

Rental Details

Party-throwers may come 15 minutes before the start of the party for set up and have 15 minutes after the party for clean up. Party-throwers provide all foods and beverages, paper products, party decorations, etc.
