The Stonington Community Center offers art programs designed for adults looking to explore their creativity, enhance their skills, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. Our adult art classes are currently focused on the art and design possibilities of sewing! Classes cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced sewers, and provide a supportive environment to foster artistic growth.

Bring your favorite item, where you will have the opportunity to create your own pattern and begin to sew your vision. Experience the simplicity and heart of turning vision into reality. A thrifty approach to creative design! This magical world of sewing fun will take place inside COMO Thrift. Items within the shop will also be available to purchase. Celebrate the feeling of friendship and imagination when we create together!

HOMESCHOOL BASKETBALL PROGRAM

- BOYS & GIRLS TRAVEL BASKETBALL LEAGUES
Grades: 4-8
COMO Travel Basketball is an opportunity to play at a higher level against teams around the region. Teams are split by age and gender. The season runs from November through February. Players interested in playing travel must participate in Skill Evaluation Day. Players will participate in drills and scrimmages to be evaluated for best placement of your child and to help make teams. COMO staff will be on site to answer questions about the upcoming season and provide feedback on the best placement for your child for the upcoming season.

Meet the Instructor
COMO Athletic Director TJ Faeth, a USA Basketball Gold Licensed Coach and Pro Basketball Skills Trainer, is passionate about the advancement and development of young athletes. TJ holds a B.S. in Sports Management from the University of Connecticut where he worked with the men’s and women’s basketball programs, as well as an M.S. in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
