Day Camp

At COMO Day Camp, we believe in providing a dynamic, hands-on learning environment that engages kids in a wide variety of activities.
Campers can delve into the world of STEAM in our state-of-the-art Makerspace, where they experiment with technology and innovation. In our Kitchen, they get hands-on with nutrition, learning about healthy eating through fun and practical activities. The Garden & Outdoor Classroom offers the chance to explore nature and science in a hands-on, interactive way.

Campers stay active by playing games on our Gym Courts and Fields, climbing on our playground, and splashing around at the beach. For creative expression, they can showcase their talents on our stage, and each week, discover exciting new places around Stonington through fun field trips. Our approach nurtures curiosity, creativity, and physical activity, ensuring that every camper enjoys a well-rounded, enriching summer experience.

The COMO offers Specialty STEAM Camps that can be seamlessly integrated into your child’s full-day camp experience.

Held in the COMO Makerspace, Maker Camp gives campers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. Participants will learn how to design 3D models using CAD software, prepare files for 3D printing, and operate a 3D printer. In addition to 3D printing, campers will explore a variety of equipment and materials, including a large format printer, Glowforge laser cutter, sewing machines, fine arts supplies, crafts, and hand tools.

This camp fosters creativity and innovation, offering a unique space for campers to experiment and create.
