Open for the 2024 season on Saturday, May 25 (weekends only), and full-time beginning Monday, June 17.

About duBois Beach

DuBois Beach requires a season or day pass beginning in May through Labor Day. Passes are required while lifeguards are on duty from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the summer season. Outside of the summer season, duBois Beach is free to visit.

DuBois Beach is owned by the Stonington Village Improvement Association (SVIA) and operated by the COMO. The SVIA and COMO are local nonprofits with a long history of serving the community. Our partnership ensures the necessary amenities for a safe and enjoyable beach experience. Fees support beach maintenance, operations, facilities, supplies, and lifesaving equipment. Our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable, and affordable experience!

DuBois Beach is great family fun featuring gentle surf, jetties for crabbing, and a shaded gazebo. Parking is free of charge in the public lot adjacent to the beach.

Please note: The COMO is no longer distributing passes for Sandy Point. Passes must be purchased through Rhode Island National Wildlife Refuge Complex.
