MEMBERSHIP
Since 1945, the COMO has been dedicated to strengthening families and fostering connections within our region.
By becoming a member, you join an important part of the COMO legacy.
Unlike most community centers, the COMO is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is not operated by the town. We rely on public support to continue building a strong, vibrant community.
Your membership helps make this possible, while also providing you with a variety of benefits.
COMO memberships are annual, and upon joining, you will be charged a prorated fee to immediately begin enjoying COMO benefits. Your full annual membership will begin on the 1st of the following month and will run for 12 consecutive months.
Memberships automatically renew each year. If you wish to cancel or opt out of auto-renewal, please do so at least 30 days before your renewal date. Please note that membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferable.
As a COMO member, you gain access to premier facilities at affordable rates, including:
- Four regulation DecoTurf tennis courts
Four paddle tennis courts and a warming hut
- Gymnasium with two indoor pickleball courts and an auditorium with a full stage
- Licensed commercial kitchen
- Pottery studio with eight wheels and an onsite kiln
- Outdoor classroom by the pond
- Preschool classrooms
- Children’s garden with flower, herb, and vegetable gardens, plus a pond and sitting areas
- COMO Thrift Shop
- Bear’s and Owen’s outdoor athletic fields
- Partner access to duBois Beach at Stonington Point
