74th Annual COMO Village Fair

The COMO Village Fair is a regional time-honored tradition drawing thousands annually. This popular community event brings together local and tourist alike, for a fun-filled day of children’s games, local music, food trucks, pottery, sweet bread, floral arrangements, used book sale and more. Admission is free for all.

Village Fair Poster Sales

Each year, local artist Susan Scala uses her amazing talents to create a poster that captures the spirit of the Village Fair. Posters will be available for presale and at Susan’s booth on Fair Day. Save $5 off posters and t-shirts when you preorder!

Artisan Row

Artisan Row at the Village Fair invites local artisans, makers, and organizations to display their work at this popular vibrant event! Preferred vendors will showcase handmade goods, original artwork, unique crafts, or locally-produced items. Artisans are provided a 10×10’ or 12×12’ spot in the show. First-come, first-served. Please note this event is rain or shine. Please read the artisan guidelines fully before applying. Application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Volunteer at Village Fair!

Volunteers are a critical part of running this annual fundraiser and community event. Volunteers are needed to assist with setup and breakdown, as well as help during the fair including at games, the pottery tent, sweet bread table, prizes, and more! Thank you to the amazing volunteers and sponsors who help make the Stonington Village Fair such a success, year after year.

1864 Baseball Game for America250

Historic Stonington, Stonington Community Center, The National Association of Historic Baseball Clubs and Stonington’s America 250 Committee are proud to present an 1864 baseball game double header on Saturday, August 1st. The action kicks off at 3pm at the Como’s Bears Field, immediately adjacent to the viaduct. United States President Abraham Lincoln will be throwing out the first pitch, accompanied by members of the 8th Connecticut Regiment. At 3pm the Providence Grays will take on the New York Mutuals. After a brief intermission featuring music of the Civil War, our home team the Stonington Cannons will take on the Mutuals around 4:30.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair, pack a picnic or enjoy some snacks from our vendors. This is a free, family-friendly event that celebrates America’s greatest past time in honor of America 250.
