The COMO offers a variety of rental options to suit any occasion.

Whether you’re planning a birthday party, team meeting, fundraiser, theatrical performance, or another special event, the COMO has the perfect space for you.

Our versatile campus can accommodate a wide range of needs and event types, providing a welcoming and functional environment for gatherings of all sizes.

In addition to our indoor and outdoor spaces, we also coordinate rentals of DuBois Beach from Memorial Day through Labor Day, offering a scenic coastal venue for your summer events.

If applicable: $75 set up fee & $75 breakdown fee for all rentable spaces. The COMO offers the following equipment upon request, dependent upon availability: Wi-Fi, whiteboard, AV, projector screen, projector, phone/video conferencing, folding gray/blue chairs, and 8-foot rectangular tables. Linens are available at an additional cost. $10 for rectangular tablecloths and $12 for round tablecloths. Metal folding chairs are included in the cost. Upgrade to white event chairs for an additional $2.75 per chair. Rental options vary and can be customized on a group-by-group basis. Group rentals may require a certificate of insurance naming COMO additional insured.

Auditorium

Our newly renovated auditorium has neutral colors, wall-mounted lantern lighting, and overhead lighting. A permanent 40′ x 28′ wooden stage with stage curtains may be utilized. 8 ft. rectangular or 60″ round tables and chairs are included. The auditorium has a two-hour minimum rental that includes one hour for set-up and one hour for break-down.

Gymnasium

The full-sized gymnasium offers the opportunity for sports games & practices, special events, birthday parties, or competitions. The basketball court includes six hoops and padded walls. A paned viewing window opens to the hallway. The gym does not have bleachers or seating, however, 6-foot rectangular or 60″ round tables and folding chairs are available.

Children’s Garden

The Children’s Garden is located near 45 Cutler Street, across from the COMO main building. Beautifully maintained by the Stonington Garden Club, the Children’s Garden is an outdoor space with a pond, vegetables, fruits, and flowers growing all year round. It is used by the COMO Education Programs as a tool to teach about nature, seasons, food, animals, ecosystems, and more!

Conference Room

The conference room offers a professional space for meetings, classes and presentations. The room is white walled with laminate wood flooring. The neutral color palette and classroom set up ensure your group can stay focused and engaged. There is a TV screen for presentations.

Bears Field

Tennis Courts

Four aluminum courts; single and double player courts available. Rental includes access to a warming hut, heaters and viewing deck. Perfect for paddle matches, practice, socials, parties, etc.

DuBois Beach

The COMO coordinates rentals of duBois Beach from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Outside of these dates,rentals of the beach are handled by the Stonington Village Improvement Association (SVIA). duBois beach is a great family beach with gentle surf, a large sandy beach, jetties for crabbing, and an anchored dock. Perfect for weddings, birthday parties, field day events, and more. duBois Beach is open to the public with a lifeguard on duty from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily during the summer.
