Our volunteers play a vital role in bringing our mission to life, supporting everything from day camp activities and athletic programs to special events and outreach initiatives.
COMO Thrift Shop
Thrift shop volunteers help fuel this critical fundraising arm of the COMO. Volunteer activities include processing donations, organizing the sales floor, assisting customers, creating window displays, and more! For more info, email e.theodore@thecomo.org.
STEAM Programs
Volunteers are needed to lead STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) programs in the COMO pottery studio. Assist students with the Glowforge laser cutters, 3D printers, and more! For more info, email STEAM@thecomo.org.
Annual Stonington Village Fair
Volunteers are key to helping make the Stonington Village Fair a success! Volunteer shifts are available for set up, fair stations, and breakdown on fair day in the Stonington Borough. Village Fair 2025 will be on August 2. For more info, email development@thecomo.org.
Coaching
Volunteer coaches are needed to assist our young, excited athletes. The COMO offers a variety of sports programs year-round including soccer, basketball, tennis, and more! Plus, help out with sports camps in the summer. For more info, email athletics@thecomo.org.
