About COMO Pickleball

Pickleball is a fun sport combining elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It can be played indoors or outdoors. It has gained popularity in the last few years thanks partly to its accessibility to people of varying skill levels. It is less physically demanding than similar racquet sports but still provides an opportunity for exercise and social interaction.

The COMO gym is lined for two indoor pickleball courts with permanent lines and portable nets located in the gymnasium at the main building. Access to the COMO pickleball courts is included for all active adult members (ages 18+) at the COMO free of charge. Membership is required. Please note that basic youth memberships do not include access to the pickleball courts.

Access

Active members who would like to play pickleball should register online for the free pickleball program, after which an access card will be created and mailed to you. If you already have a card, access will be added to your current card. Cards can be used to enter the front exterior and interior doors of the main building during pickleball open play hours. Please bring your card each time you play. Lost cards are subject to a $10 replacement fee. You only need to register once for the pickleball program. Your card will then be active until your COMO membership expires.

Pickleball Open Play Schedule

Mondays & Wednesdays - 12-3 p.m. & 8-10 p.m.

Tuesdays & Thursdays - 6-8:30 a.m.

Fridays - 12-3 p.m.

Sundays - 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

*Subject to change depending on attendance and gym availability.

COMO Pickleball House Rules

All players must have an active COMO Membership and be over the age of 18.
First group in sets up nets, last group breaks them down. Please return all equipment to its proper storage place.
If there are players waiting to get on the court, follow the two games played, and then off model.
Please bring your own paddle and indoor pickle balls. The COMO will have extra paddles and balls for those who need them but we cannot accommodate supplying paddles and balls for all players.
Do not slam your paddles on the court.
Bathrooms are available in the hallway. Please keep this space clean.
This is a shared use space. Please clean up any messes made in the gym.
For the safety of all players, If you see a chair on the sidelines, please put it in the rack prior to playing.
